Teradata Snap Pack

Use Snaps in this Snap Pack to export data from a Teradata database by providing a table name and configuring the connection.

Supported versions

This Snap Pack is tested against Teradata version 16.20.22.01.

Important:

You must have tdgssconfig-15.00.00.33.jar and terajdbc4-15.00.00.33.jar of Teradata. Learn more about the Teradata Tools & Utilities you need for your platform.

This Snap Pack contains the following Snaps:

  • Teradata Execute: Executes a Teradata SQL statement.
  • Teradata Export to HDFS: Exports data from Teradata and directly loads it into Hadoop (HDFS).
  • Teradata FastExport: Exports data from a Teradata database by providing a table name and configuring the connection.
  • Teradata FastLoad: Loads data to a Teradata table using the FastLoad utility.
  • Teradata Select: Fetches data from a Teradata database by providing a table name and configuring the connection.
  • Teradata Multi Execute: Executes multiple write statements as a single transaction for every input document.
  • TPT Delete: Deletes records from a Teradata table using the TPT tbuild utility based on specified delete conditions.
  • TPT FastExport: Exports data from a Teradata table to a flat file using the Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) utility.
  • TPT Insert: Inserts data from the input view by executing a script generated using the mapped input fields.
  • TPT Load: Uses the tbuild command to load data into empty Teradata tables.
  • TPT Update: Updates data from an input view by executing a script generated using the fields provided in the Snap settings.
  • TPT Upsert: Updates or inserts data from the input view by executing a script generated using the fields provided in the Snap settings.
