PLM Teamcenter Snap Pack

Overview

PLM Teamcenter is a product lifecycle management (PLM) system that holds the engineering definition of a product: items and their revisions, bills of material, documents and datasets, classifications, requirements, change objects, and the workflows that move all of them through their lifecycle. The PLM Teamcenter Snap Pack lets you read and write that definition from a pipeline, so that you can synchronize Teamcenter with ERP, MES, CRM, or analytics systems without writing custom Teamcenter code.

The Snap Pack contains 96 Snaps and three account types. The Snaps reach Teamcenter through a Teamcenter adapter, which is either embedded in the Snap Pack or deployed separately. Most Snaps share the same advanced field sets for policies, session context, error handling, and output configuration. For a description of those field sets, see Advanced settings of PLM Teamcenter Snaps.

The Snaps are grouped as follows:

Category Description Snaps
Foundation Snaps Core Snaps for reading, creating, updating, and deleting Teamcenter business objects, and for querying the Teamcenter data model. 28
Foundation Plus Snaps Snaps for advanced Teamcenter operations such as baselines, effectivity, and organization data. 6
Foundation Files Snaps Snaps for transferring files and datasets between SnapLogic and the Teamcenter File Management System (FMS). 7
Foundation Workflow Snaps Snaps for driving Teamcenter workflow processes, tasks, signoffs, and schedules. 15
Classification Snaps Snaps for working with the Teamcenter Classification (ICS) hierarchy, classes, views, and classified objects. 6
Structure Management Snaps Snaps for reading and modifying BOM structures, including occurrences, variants, and trace links. 11
Requirement Management Snaps Snaps for managing Teamcenter requirements and requirement structures. 5
Product Configuration Snaps Snaps for working with the Teamcenter Product Configurator: variant rules, expressions, and configured structures. 3
Helpers Snaps Utility Snaps for adapter configuration, caches, session information, and diagnostics. 15

Supported versions

The Snaps connect to Teamcenter through the ECS Teamcenter adapter. For the list of Teamcenter releases that your adapter version supports, see the documentation of that adapter version.
