Copy a pipeline to another project to modify it without impacting the original.
If the pipeline references child pipelines, accounts, files, or tasks:
- Copy any child pipelines to the same destination project.
- Leave references to assets in the global shared folder
unchanged.
- For assets in a project other than the destination, update references after
copying to point to the correct location in the destination project or its
shared folder.
-
In Designer, open the pipeline you want to copy.
-
On the Designer toolbar, click Copy.
The Choose Destination Project for Copy dialog opens:
-
Optionally, type in the Destination search field to filter the project list.
The list filters in real time. If a child folder matches the search term, its parent remains visible.
-
Expand a project space and click a destination project or folder to select it.
The dialog highlights the selected row. Project spaces expand and collapse on
click but aren't selectable as destinations. The
Copy button activates once a valid destination is
selected.
-
Click Copy.
A message confirms the copy was successful.
To copy pipelines to a different org, use the Project Manager asset table. Refer to Migrate projects to another org.
