Configure the MCP Client accounts

Overview

You must create an account in MCP Client to connect to data sources that you want to use in your pipelines. You can configure your account from the SnapLogic Platform with the Designer or Manager.

Snap-account compatibility

The Snaps in the MCP Client Snap Pack work with different accounts and protocols per the following table:

Account encryption

Standard Encryption If you are using Standard Encryption, follow the High sensitivity settings under Enhanced Encryption.
Enhanced Encryption If you have the Enhanced Account Encryption feature, the following describes which fields are encrypted for each sensitivity level selected for this account:
  • High: API key, Access token, Client secret
  • Medium: JSON key
