Delete accounts

Tip: Before you delete the user account, manually reassign its pipelines and Tasks to the intended owner. Ownership of any assets you don't reassign transfers to you, the Environment admin performing the deletion, but reassigning them ahead of time keeps ownership accurate and the transition clean.

When you delete a user account, ownership of its assets transfers to you, the Environment admin performing the deletion. You can delete users from the main Users table or by editing a user account. To remove accounts from the Users table:

Remove a single user

  1. Hover over the row:
    Delete a single user

  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Remove multiple users

  1. Select the users to delete.
  2. Click Delete users
    Delete multiple users

  3. Confirm the deletion.
Tip:

Follow these practices after you delete the user account to avoid errors from stale ownership or cached user data:

  • Refresh affected Tasks. In the project containing each active Task, disable and re-enable it so it refreshes with the Environment's current active users.
  • Clear the node cache. Restart the Snaplex nodes in the Environment to flush and update cached user data. For the steps, refer to Restart a Snaplex from the Snaplexes table.
