Test new releases

For the security and reliability of integrations, we recommend that you upgrade to GA Snaplexes and stable Snap Packs as soon as possible. This also gives you access to the latest SnapLogic Platform updates and improvements. If the environment isn't set to upgrade Snaplexes automatically, you can test new versions during the grace period as described below.
  1. Testing new Snaplexes and Snap Packs
    1. Log in to the app as an Environment admin.
    2. For all Snaplexes, update to the latest version in Manager. You don't have to restart the Snaplex nodes manually.
    3. Selectively execute and check a few pipelines to make sure that they work as expected.
    When you finish testing pipelines in one environment, you can manually roll out the changes to other environments. Alternatively, you can wait for the mandatory update when the grace period ends.
  2. Verifying a Snap Pack Upgrade
    1. Validate or execute a pipeline with a new version of the Snap Pack.
    2. Click the Check Pipeline Statistics icon to open the Pipeline Validation Statistics screen and hover over a Snap row. Notice the associated Snap Pack build number at the bottom of the following image.
