Configure Snaplex notifications

  1. Environment admin access to SnapLogic Manager.
  2. Slack configuration for your organization (if using Slack notifications).
Configuring Snaplex notifications ensures that administrators and users are informed about the status and performance of Snaplex instances. This approach allows for timely responses to any issues, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of the Snaplex environment.
  1. Open SnapLogic Manager and navigate to Settings tab.
  2. Click Manage Snaplex Notification.
  3. In the dialog box, specify the email address of each recipient. Press Enter after each address.
  4. To add Slack notifications, ensure Slack is configured for your organization. Select Slack channels from the dropdown list. You can also enter Slack usernames to send direct messages.
  5. Set thresholds for different metrics such as CPU usage, memory usage, disk space, and network I/O.
  6. Click Save to confirm and close the dialog box.
Once you save the notifications, you can choose to do any one of the following

Task Description
Verify if your recipients are added correctly View the list under the Manage Snaplex Notification button.
Remove recipients Hover over the recipient's name in the list. Click the X next to the name to remove it from the notification list.
Update noticifications
  1. Navigate to Settings > Notifications.
  2. Select the existing notification rule that you wish to update.
  3. Modify event types, projects, email addresses, and Slack recipients as needed.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes.
Test Notifications Click Test Notification to send a test notification. Ensure that all recipients receive the test notification to verify that the configuration is working correctly.
