Create a new Service version

With an existing Service version open, you can create a new version from scratch, duplicate a version, or import a version. All save the version in the parent Service folder and are available from the Edit version details button:

  • New version (from scratch): Creates a version with no endpoints or configuration from the original.
  • Duplicate current version: Creates a version with all endpoints and configuration (except subscription settings) from the original version.
  • Import new version: Creates a version with endpoints and basic configuration generated from the imported specification.

To create a new Service version from scratch:

  1. Open an existing version of the Service.
  2. Click the Edit version details dropdown and select New version:

  3. Configure the new version.
  4. Click Save.
