Overview

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) X12 is a standardized format for the electronic exchange of business documents between organizations. It defines a structured way to represent various business transactions, such as orders, invoices, and shipments, using a consistent syntax and data structure. EDI X12 transmits over various communication protocols, such as Applicability Statement 2 (AS2), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and Value-Added Networks (VANs).

• X12 Formatter: Reads incoming data objects and formats to the selected X12 type and version.
