Notification center

The SnapLogic Platform logs events such as Snaplex alerts and environment activities. Environment admins and non-admins can also configure email and Slack notifications for specific events. The Notification Center provides a central location to view, manage, and download alerts and events and manage notifications:

Tip: The Notification center Alerts and Activity tabs display the same information as the Monitor Alert history and Activity logs pages, respectively.

Notification center tabs

Notification Center tabs include:

  • Alerts: Snaplex and node alerts.
  • Activity: Events from Snaplex and environment activities. Refer to The Activity tab for a list of events that the Platform logs.
  • Notifications configured by Environment admins:
    • Notices: Broadcast messages display to all users in the environment when they click the notification bell.

    • Notification settings: Slack and email notifications for specific events. The Notification settings tab page describes the event types that Environment admins can create notifications for.

User-configured alerts and notifications

Environment admins can create email and Slack notifications for the event types listed in Available categories and types. Non-admin users can create email and Slack notifications for tasks and Snaplexes that they configured or for which they have edit permission:
  • Task notifications for one or more statuses, including started, completed, failed, and stopped.
  • Snaplex notifications when a Snaplex node doesn't respond for 15 minutes. These notifications also display on the Alerts and Activity tabs.
