Tc BOM Structure Add: Add child to BOM

This example shows the input document that adds a child item to a parent part of a BOM structure.

In the snap configuration following values has to fed into fields

  • $parent_id to Parent ID (UID or Adapter ID value of parent object)
  • $child_id to Child ID (UID or Adapter ID value of child object)
  • $bomAttributes to Child BOMLine Attributes Path

UIDs in Teamcenter are as the name says UNIQUE. The UIDs in the example only exist in our Teamcenter system as expected for our example. Same is valid for Adapter ID "_id" since its base is the UID.
