Creating a New Dataset

This example demonstrates how to use the Power BI Push Dataset Snap to create a new dataset, along with its own set of records, in a workspace. This example assumes that you have configured and authorized a valid Power BI OAuth2 account (see Configure Microsoft Power BI Accounts).

Create a new dataset pipeline overview

Download this pipeline.
  1. Configure the JSON Generator Snap with all the fields and values that you want to include in the dataset.

The following screenshot shows a preview of the JSON Generator Snap's output.
