Policy rules are available in your environment when you subscribe to the APIM feature and the Policies Snap Pack. Despite the name, the Policies Snap Pack contains rules, not Snaps. Similar to Snap Packs, configure your environment to use one of the following distributions:

• Stable: Rules that have been available for a few releases. This distribution is updated quarterly release.
• Latest: The newest rules and rule features. This distribution is typically updated every month.

The distributions depend on Snaplex version updates, which coincide with the monthly and quarterly releases. The following provide more information about Snap Pack and Snaplex updates:
