Snap Statistics

Use Snap Statistics to identify which pipelines in an organization use a specific Snap.

Snap Statistics helps you understand Snap usage across pipelines, which is useful when planning Snap updates or impact analysis.

From Project Manager, open the Snap Statistics page and generate the report. Report generation can take several minutes depending on the number of Snaps and pipelines in the organization.

Note: Newly created pipelines can take several minutes to appear in the report.

After the report generates, the table includes the following information:

  • The installed Snap Packs
  • The Snap Pack type:
    • Public: Available to all users
    • Premium: Purchased separately
    • Private: Developed for a specific organization
  • The number of Snaps in each Snap Pack

Expand a Snap Pack to view its Snaps.

View Pipeline Usage for a Snap

To see which pipelines use a Snap, click the Snap name. Snap Statistics displays a list of pipelines that reference the selected Snap.

Click a pipeline name to open the pipeline in Designer.

Download the Snap Statistics Report

You can download the Snap Statistics report in CSV format. The report includes pipeline usage statistics for each Snap.

To access a pipeline from a report link, append the pipeline path to https://elastic.snaplogic.com.

Note: You must be logged in and have permission to the pipeline project to access it.

View Snap usage for an individual pipeline:

Right-click a pipeline and select Snap Statistics to see the Snaps used in that pipeline.
