Designer Toolbar
The Designer toolbar contains several controls to work with your pipelines. You can click
the down arrow on the right-side of the designer toolbar to collapse it. Click the up arrow
to expand it.


The following table describes the icons and their functions:

|
Creates a new pipeline. Learn more. |

Execution |
|
Runs the pipeline. When you execute a pipeline, it goes through a four-stage process that orchestrates data integration, transformation, and processing. Learn more. |

Validates the pipeline. Any unsaved changes will be saved before validation. Clicking the button while a validation is in process cancels that validation. The button displays a checkmark when validation is complete. Shift-clicking the button will clear the cache before validating. | |

As a pipeline executes, the statistics are updated periodically so that you can monitor its progress. Learn more. | |

A Task in SnapLogic makes your pipelines operational and production-ready. You can create Scheduled, Triggered, and Ultra tasks in your pipelines. | |

Saves the pipeline in SnapLogic Platform. All Snap configurations, connections, labels, and pipeline properties are stored in the SnapLogic platform database. It also saves the metadata, such as Pipeline structure and layout, Pipeline properties and settings, and any notes or documentation attached. |
