Validates the pipeline. Any unsaved changes will be saved before validation.
Clicking the button while a validation is in process cancels that validation. The
button displays a checkmark when validation is complete. Shift-clicking the button
will clear the cache before validating. Learn
more. Saving changes to informational fields, such as Label, Notes, and Tags in a Snap's configuration dialog, does not trigger re-validation of the Snap. Attention: Behavior change
Previously, every save in the Snap configuration triggered a full validation cycle, regardless of the fields modified. With the September 4.45.1.0 Release, the Snap does not trigger re-validation when the informational fields (Label, Notes, Tags), are modified and saved. If any configuration or functional fields are modified in the same save, full validation is done as before. |

Save the pipeline in SnapLogic Platform. All Snap configurations, connections, labels, and pipeline properties are stored in the SnapLogic platform database.
