Before you can subscribe to a Service, you must create an application. Services that offer subscriptions can be configured for automatic or manual approvals.

Subscribe to a Service version

To subscribe to a Service version:

1. Open the Developer Portal and find the service to subscribe to.
2. From the card or table view, click the Service version.
3. Click Subscribe. The card updates to show the status:
   • Pending (for manual approvals)
   • Approved (for automatic and manual approvals)
   • Rejected (for manual approvals)
   • Revoked (for automatic and manual approvals)
4. After approval, obtain the key or token:
   • Click your email address in the header and from the menu, select Manage Applications The Applications page opens:
     
     
     
     
   • Navigate to the application
   • Click Get key for an API key or New JWT key for a JWT to copy the key.
   • Save the key in a secure location.
   • Click the logo or back button to return to the Service catalog.

   You can now use the key or token to invoke the Service endpoints. From the application, you can revoke the key or unsubscribe.
