Tc BOM Structure Create TraceLink: Create a tracelink between two occurrences

This example pipeline demonstrates how to create a trace link between two occurrences of a BOM.

As start the output JSON of Snap Tc BOM Structure Get For TraceLink (*) is used.

Now occurence of child one and three shall be connected via tracelink e.g. A Mapper Snap will extract ids.

ID values are unique and bound to object in one Teamcenter. IDs will not work for another Teamcenter. Create own Parts to get valid IDs for testing.

The JSON document to give input to Snap has now the following values to be fed into fields:

  • $.primary to Primary ID field of Snap
  • $.secondary to Secondary ID field of Snap

Snap response contains information for _id and UID of created tracelink.
