DeveloperHub

For environments with an APIM 3.0 subscription, SnapLogic hosts the DeveloperHub, a customizable website where consumers can browse and use published Services. Predefined starter pages, themes, and drag-n-drop customization simplify the creation of an attractive, usable site. Learn more about starter pages.

Those in the following roles interact with DeveloperHub:

  • Environment admins: Configure DeveloperHub in Admin Manager, customize the look and feel in Site Manager, publish pages, and manage user accounts.
  • Service developers: Publish Services to DeveloperHub by changing their status in the Services Catalog. Published Services with a status of Public are available to all, Services with a status of Restricted are only available to users with a SnapLogic login. Developers provide Service documentation in Markup format. The documentation displays when a visitor clicks on a Service to view its details.
  • Service consumers: Browse and use Services. Service consumers can be internal, from the organization that owns the environment, or external. If the site is configured to require login:
    • Internal consumers log in to the DeveloperHub with their SnapLogic username and password.
    • External consumers can request an account, which requires approval by an Environment Admin. Refer to Manage DeveloperHub accounts for external users for more information.

Accessing the published site

Each environment has one DeveloperHub site. Organizations with separate environments for development and production have the option of using the development environment site for internal testing. When published, the DeveloperHub site URL is: https://control-plane/devhub/content/env-name/. For example, the DeveloperHub URL for an environment named my-prod on the global control plane is: https://elastic.snaplogic.com/devhub/content/my-prod/.
