Work with buttons
Buttons add interactivity to your site. They can open other pages on the site or link to external content.
Each section has a grid to help you position components such as buttons, text blocks, and tables. The grid becomes visible when you drag a component on a section or reposition it.
The following describe how to:
Add a button
To add a button:
- Hover on the page to reveal the section buttons.
- Click Add Component to open the menu.
- Select Button.
- Drag the button to the appropriate location.
- Click the button to open the component toolbar.
- Click the edit icon.
- Configure options:
- For Type, select Primary, Secondary, or Tertiary. Theme button options define the style for the three button types.
- Add the link URL.
- Configure whether the link should open in a new tab.
- Click the Button text to change the label.
- Click Save.
Delete a button
To delete a button:
- Select the page and click Edit.
- Click the button to open the component toolbar.
- Click the trash can icon.
- Click Save.
Edit button styles
You can set colors, fonts, radius, and other attributes for the primary, secondary, and tertiary buttons. To edit button styles:
- From any page, click
to open the Site Styles panel. - Click Themes. The Theme Options panel opens.
- Click the Buttons card.
- Expand the button type to modify.
- Select the desired attributes and when finished, click back.
